These diagrams show the flow of logic through the Jobd system and highlights areas of the Jobd system that are accessible to particular users because of their role. Note that a person using Jobd can have more than one role at the same time and everyone has the user role. Boxes with dotted line borders are functions inside a page. Pages marked as orange boxes are accessible to anyone, logged in or visitor.

User

Every user has the user role. A user can make job requests, follow progress and exchange messages with the job list manager.

Administrator

The administrator organises the system and has access to all job and work lists.

Job List Manager

The job list manager has access to administer some job lists, as assigned by the administrator.

Work List Manager

The work list manager has access to administer some work lists, as assigned by the administrator.

Worker

Workers receive work items from the work list(s) assigned to them. They update the work items and communicate with work list managers.
