By default, many of the Jobd pages show a blue information message, which describe how to use the features on the page. This is designed to assist new users. Blue information messages can be turned on or off on the Settings page.

Analytics

The System Analytics page provides information about the running of your Jobd system. Understand at a glance, how well your system is functioning in terms of job throughput, where bottlenecks exist etc.

Appearance

The name of your system and its logo can be edited on the Appearance page.

Making List Managers

The controllers of job lists and work lists are the list managers. In an organisation of any size, you will want to delegate responsibility for job lists and work lists to some members of staff who you designate as your list managers; they will oversee the throughput of jobs. Users can be given the list manager role from the Users page. List managers are included in any communication that is generated by the job, work or customer.

You, as the administrator, may wish to monitor or manage any of your job lists or work lists yourself. The Job Lists and Work Lists pages give you access. To avoid you being overwhelmed with messages, the administrator is not included in any of the communication by default. If you wish to monitor the communication from any job list or work list, simply make yourself a list manager of the appropriate list.

Changing the Administrator

Occasionally a change in administrator will be necessary in an organisation; Jobd allows this to happen very quickly and easily, on the Users page. Take care when making an administrator change. There can only be one administrator; once you assign a new administrator, you will instantly transfer all of the administration features to the new administrator and lose those features yourself.
